Currently I work  as a Regional Manufacturing Engineer at the Cleveland Cliffs, I am responsible to control and implement process improvements, establish and sustain lean procedures and activities, assist Operations and Production with developing KPIs and productivity initiatives on plant-level as well as corporate level to drive savings to the bottom line. Also, I use various designing and analyzing software to support production and lean manufacturing team corporate wide to implement improvements over the conventional process. With some of the key projects I have driven over $250K savings in 2020-21 for the plant and opened up a potential of $1Million saving corporate wide.  As Mechanical Engineer at Omni Tool Limited, I designed, analyzed, developed and commissioned automated systems and assembly machines. I have been involved with numerous automation projects from commencement to successful commissioning. This reflects my experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation devices. Some of my professional experiences include assembly machine calibration, CNC machining, basics of CMM programming, workshop process flow, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and project management.  Prior to completion of Master of Mechanical Engineering (University of Windsor) where I was in top 15% of the class, hence leading to my nomination for Golden Key International Honor Society, I worked as Jr. Production Engineer at Shree Industries. Using my thesis research on ‘Ergonomic improvements in foundry for prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders’, I worked on improving process layouts and assisted in foundry layout designing while improving the ergonomic aspect of the whole process. Tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD were used for designing the layouts of foundry.
