“An Architect with 25 years of progressively responsible professional experience in all aspects of Architecture – design, presentation, construction & project management. Competence and experience encompass other disciplines like Interior Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Design, Adaptive Reuse, CAD Management and Digital Art.”
As one of my longest tenure of 14 years in EO, I had led a team of over 25 – Architects, Interior & Landscape Designers for execution of over 3000 projects for the Royal Family.
I believe in continuous learning and have recently completed courses –
I am an avid listener of Hindustani Classical music. I have performed as a stage artist during college and in ‘Aamdar Saubhagyawati’ play in Dubai and Pune.I enjoy reading Marathi literature and my favourite authors are P. L. Deshpande, V. P. Kale and C. V. Joshi.
I was born on 20 Feb 1970 in Kolhapur. My father Shrikant Gajanan Pitre is Chartered Civil Engineer and had illustrious career in India and the Middle East. My mother Sunila Shrikant Pitre is a home maker.
Both my parents are actively involved in social work as a medium to support deserving NGO initiatives. Their outgoing nature, selfless service and will to give back something to the society has led to large friend circle from fields like arts, music, business, finance, Marathi film and drama faculty, political leaders, etc.
My younger sister and brother are well settled in Kolhapur and Dubai respectively. I stayed with my grandparents from early age of 3 years. So, both have had big influence on my initial upbringing.
Having moved from one school to another quite frequently,I amable to quickly adjust to changing environment. My career after graduation has somewhat evolved on principles of continuous learning and honing of new skills.
I believe blessings from parents and well wishes of family, relatives and Guru is of utmost importance for success in life. I am blessed.
I had the privilege of working as Associate Architect with Charles Correa – one of India’s greatest Architect. The natural progression after that experience was to expand horizons outside India. Moving to Dubai-UAE was easy as it was the nearest shore that I had grown up on.
My wife Neha (Aparna Phadke) is from Girgaum, Mumbai. After B. Com., she majored in Shipping Management from Mumbai University. She was working in Dubai as Executive Manager – Maersk Shipping – world’s premier shipping company.
She let go of her stable career to take care of our two daughters. Because of her constant support at home, our both daughters have excelled in academics and extra-curricular fields.
Sakshi, my elder daughter,is doing Bachelor of Architecture course in USA.
Anushree, who is in grade 7, is practicing 4th year Ballet program of Royal Academy of Dance, UK. Both have been student leaders since young age.
My wife and my daughters have been by my side in whatever I have achieved so far. Sometimes my hectic work schedules meant less family time on weekends but they have been very understanding. Their unconditional love means a lot to me and I do my best to be there when they need me.
I would love to travel throughout India and see it in all its glory.
I try to give back something to the society and underprivileged by supporting social causes. However, I want to do more – both financially and through sharing of skills and experience.
