About the session:
Negotiation skills are vital soft skills in life – both from personal and business perspective. These skills, which like any other art, require knowledge, understanding and practice to achieve the desired results. In the first part of this lecture series, we learnt some basic techniques for negotiating in different situations. In the Part-2 of this series, we are going to cover one extremely important aspect of negotiation skills – how to deal with people coming from different backgrounds, different countries and different cultures. Understanding cultural aspects of people is very critical to achieve desired results in any negotiation. This part shows the participants critical aspects of cultures with some typical examples of characteristics and traits of people from different countries and cultures. Understanding them is a big advantage in negotiation results.
